Um I'm not sure where prod80 is getting their information, but I can promise you CoT is highly incompatible with some ENBs! I know this from personal experience, I fought with getting an ENB to work with CoT for quite some time! CoT is not an ENB itself, but it changes the lighting and visual appearance of the game in a way that is unlike most mods, and sense pretty much all ENBs are made with the vanilla lighting scheme in mind, it can create real problems if combined with advanced ENBs, sense they will often over darken areas CoT darkens, and when the game tries to display these areas, the image will be so dark it inverts color, you'll get bright, almost metallic white areas in shadows, and especially when absorbing dragon souls or reading words of powers. That's just one issue, I also had moons shining like the sun, amongst a few other smaller glitches. It took me a while to find an ENB that works well with CoT that was visually noticeable enough to be worth the effort, I would suggest the one I use, but at the moment I'm using a highly modified combo of two ENBs.If an ENB doesn't work with it, trying using ENB Customizer to turn settings on and off until it does work. If you can't get it to work, just try another ENB. CoT is very sensitive to changes made to the sky, and global lighting, so that would probably be the best place to start tweaking. Also, I've had problems with color correction/adaption as well.My personal suggestion is use an ENB designed for CoT, I believe CoT actually has a list of compatible ENBs in the description! ^_^ Imaginator is also a great alternative to ENBs, if you just want brighter colors, or for things to have more 'pop', Dynavision adds in Depth of Field without the need for an ENB, if that's what you are after! And of coarse, making sure your load order is probably sorted with BOSS should be your first priority. ENBs do not have ESPs, so this doesn't matter as much, but it's possible the error you are having is coming from JUST CoT. It would really help if you were more specific about what the error is, and when exactly it started happening, in addition to what other mods you have installed...

E.V.C. ENB. The concentration of efforts to create an ENB on one weather mod allowed to achieve incredible detail in development. Even the lighting in interiors depends on the weather outside.Great performanceSpoiler: ShowOptimized ENB settings, no need to use EVLaS or DVLSS, turned off game volumetric rays = excellent performance, more details below.Ensuring good performance was one of the main goals when creating the E.V.C. ENB. I have a heavily modified Skyrim, with FOV=90, with a lot of graphic mods, while the FPS is around 60 with 2560*1440 resolution. My PC: Ryzen 3800X, RX 6700 XT. This is achieved with the help of several factors: game volumetric rays are not used, ENB volumetric rays are used instead; careful adjustment of ENB parameters; there is no need to use DVLSS or EVLaS, which, with ENB, with game volumetric rays enabled and/or ultra shadows (iShadowMapResolution=4096) greatly reduce your FPS. E.V.C. ENB will allow you to save a lot of FPS, which will allow you to improve grass settings, install more performance-heavy trees and other mods.No need to use Dynamic Volumetric Lighting and Sun Shadows or Enhanced Volumetric Lighting and Shadows:In my ENBs, I always spend a lot of time adjusting the day-night, night-day transition to make the image more realistic. After sunset and before sunrise, direct sunlight in my ENBs is turned off because this reduces the immersion effect. DVLSS or EVLaS also turns off direct sunlight after sunset by default, but this effect is already implemented in my ENBs without DVLSS or EVLaS.DVLSS or EVLaS also change the angle of direct sunlight and game volumetric rays, bringing them closer to the real position of the sun in the sky. This is very good, but not quite :). First, with ENB enabled and the maximum settings of in-game shadows (iShadowMapResolution=4096) and/or maximum DVLSS or EVLaS settings, there is a serious loss of FPS, my 6700 XT (with a resolution of 2560 * 1440) cannot cope with sunsets and sunrises, the FPS drops significantly below 60. This is not the case with which I can put up. Secondly, Skyrim is a mountainous area, accordingly, in many locations, for example, in Riverwood, morning and evening will pass in full shade, which slightly reduces the spectacularity of the image.Interestingly, when the game volumetric rays are turned on, you will have to use DVLSS or EVLaS in order to synchronize the direction of the game volumetric

(in log file too)I stop this funny beta program unless somebody have a "professional" solution Reply Good karma Bad karma+1 vote papasfritas - Jan 21 2017 - 23 comments Reshade. For Skyrim or Fallout3/NewVegas, enb. For UT2k4, Reshade does what enb does but the bloom is less overpowering, doesn't kill skyboxes the way enb can. There are plenty of effects to choose from. Is possible to run old sweet fx and maybe reshade with enb, but seems like overkill and too much redundancy to me. Reshade.me Reply Good karma Bad karma+1 vote papasfritas - Jan 31 2017 - 23 comments 1. You'll likely need d3d8 to d3d9 converter. The current one for reshade seems to cause texture / shadow flickering. But you can use the enb version: Enbdev.com2. Note that you can get a noticeable performance boost by turning down sample count on effects like RBM and MXAO, from the starting 32 to say 20 or even less. Reply Good karma Bad karma+1 vote. If this effect is too subtle for you, turn this option off in the Rain section, ENB UI, tweak it, or just disable ENB rain there."ENB UNDERWATER"This effect requires in-game DoF, so the DoF must be turned on in the game settings (But at the same time it's turned off in the enblocal.ini file, because I'm using a great Marty McFly's shader for the DoF effect). Anyway, underwater can be tweaked in two places, in the main ENB UI, you can adjust Tint Amount (adopt this value for the water mod you are using) and Caustics Amount and in the enbunderwater.fx shader, there will find Blur Amount and Range."SSE SUNGLARE"Is set to 0 in the enbseries, If you like this effect, tweak the values."ENB SSS - SUBSURFACE SCATTERING"If you use the "Subsurface Scattering Shaders for Skins" mod, it's time to deinstall it. ENB SSS is based on a diffuse map, so the game sss maps *_sk.dds are ignored by that effect. For this reason, ENB SSS depends on a body texture replacer you are currently using. You should avoid using the default sss maps, they are pink and saturated, better to use dark or even black maps. ENB is ignoring them, but the game engine no, so you can't reduce a red/pink tint effect. Try "UNP Female Body Renewal", subsurface maps "Dark Red" or "Black". Feel free to fine-tune this effect in the ENB UI."SSE LENS FLARE"This effect Is set to 0 in the enbseries.ini, so you can't see it in the game. If you like it, tweak the values in the [LENSFLARE_GAME] section, in the ENB UI."ENB ANIMATED STARS"This a new enb addon. It's really cool, see my video :,Remember, not all the texture replacers for the night sky are compatible with it. With some of them, that effect

Install "ENB Light"". An effect called "ENB Complex Particle and Fire lights" requires this.- Install "Water for ENB". Shades of Skyrim version. I haven't tested other versions, so I don't know what they look like in the game .- And "Embers XD". ENB fire effect from my preset is prepared for Mindflux's mod. Choose the Orange flames and Optimized version, Disabled Red Glow and Reduced Yellow Glow- And of course one of these mods: "Storm Lightning for SSE and VR (Minty Lightning 2019)" or "Lightning During Storms SSE (Minty lightning).- If you want Morthal region to look more atmospheric: "Supreme Fog for Morthal Region" and "No Morthal Snow", Silent Hill vibes guaranteed.- They might come in handy - "Bright Waterfall Fix for ENB", Choose "Water for ENB Particle Patch" and "DynDOLOD Bright LOD Waterfall Fix", if you are using DynDOLOD. There is a darker snow texture in ""Water for ENB Particle Patch" called "fxsnowsoftsub.dds". Replace it later with a defult version from my FOMOD. It's no longer needed because there is snow control in ENB.- And "Less Distracting Blowing Snow Effects for ENB Particle Patch"- Tune your monitor's BLACK LEVEL, CONTRAST, WHITE SATURATION and GAMMA.My preset is designed for the white balance - 6500K and Gamma 2.2----------------------------------------------------------- Skyrim SE options menu and SkyrimPrefs.ini and Skyrim.ini -----------------------------------------------------------Turn off:- Screen Space Ambient Occlusion- Snow Shader- Lens FlareA few important things:- You need to use in-game volumetric rays. Many fog effects require them, make sure that in SkyrimPrefs.ini, "bVolumetricLightingEnable" is set to "1" and in Skyrim.ini, "bVolumetricLightingDisableInterior" is set to "0".- You need in-game DoF, "ENB underwater" effect requires it, even if the game's DoF is disabled in the enblocal.ini file.- Make sure that in "SkyrimPrefs.ini" and "Skyrim.ini", these lines look exactly like this:SkyrimPrefs.ini:[Display]bSAO_CS_Enable=0bSAOEnable=0bEnableImprovedSnow=0bVolumetricLightingEnable=1bUse64bitsHDRRenderTarget=1bDrawLandShadows=1iNumSplits=2fGamma=1.0000[Imagespace]bDoDepthOfField=1Skyrim.ini:[Display]bVolumetricLightingDisableInterior=0bEnableSnowRimLighting=0- Try not to use too low values for "fShadowDirectionalBiasScale".
